June 2022: OptiCel News: Fourth Patent Granted
The United Stated Patent & Trademark Office has granted Summit Innovation Labsit’s fourth US Patent. US Patent # 11,357,250 recognized SIL’s unique technology for the Treatment and Prevention of Diabetes and Obesity — “The invention encompasses compositions and methods for effectively treating and/or preventing diabetes and / or obesity by totally addressing the multiple mechanisms that lead to such conditions. This invention includes compositions comprising a combination of agents that effectively suppress, regulate and / or interfere with the various biochemical processes and mechanism that lead to diabetes and obesity.”

SIL received US Patent # 11,344,575 for Vascular Calcification Prevention and Treatment. To our supporters, investors, and consumers, we are excited to share a progress report on the first-ever product, OptiCel, designed for a breakthrough in the prevention and early treatment of chronic diseases -- cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and arthritis. OptiCel just received two US patents - Joint Health and Joint and Bone Health. These were proceeded by three peer-reviewed publications -- on heart health, diabetes and safety.
Patents: The current estimate is that nearly 50% of adults in the US experience joint pain, with many being diagnosed with arthritis. Inflammation, joint pain, and arthritis can be debilitating and interfere with one's daily activities. Healthcare institutions worldwide agree arthritis comprises many diseases and syndromes. Over time, these conditions can become more painful and often are progressive and degenerative. These conditions can be broadly categorized as joint disease.
Thanks to the advances in biotechnology, we can now see these diseases coming 10 to 20 years in advance, mainly from inherited conditions and lifestyle choices.
